Due to weather and other factors, we have decided to cancel the scheduled model rocket launch tomorrow at Buder Park.

We may also be rescheduling the final park launch from September 29 to October 6-7 (both days) for the October Fly contest launch. Keep an eye out for a future announcement about that event.

Our next model rocket launch is scheduled for this coming Sunday, September 9th at Buder Park. Unfortunately, it looks like Buder will be getting quite a bit of rain between now and then, as we have a cold front approaching from the west and the remains of tropical storm Gordon coming up from the south. If we have dry enough weather (and a dry enough field) to have a launch, the good news is that it will be nice and cool.

Set up time will be 9:00am, unless it looks like delaying an hour or two will give us better weather conditions. I will keep an eye on the forecast and send another announcement if we have to cancel.

Due to schedule conflicts, we need to move the next model rocket launch from Sunday September 2 to Sunday September 9.

Our current plan is to keep the following launch on its regularly scheduled date of Saturday September 29.

Our next model rocket launch is scheduled for this coming Saturday, July 28th at Buder Park. The current forecast is for mostly cloudy skies, light winds, and a high temperature of 81 - much better than last month! The rain that was previously forecast for Saturday afternoon appears to have been pushed to Sunday, but we'll still keep an eye on it.

We'll still start setup at 8:00 am and should have the range open by 8:30 if not earlier.
