As of 2025, the membership fee is $30 annually.  Memberships entered after July 1st of the year are prorated to $15. 

Your membership not only supports the club, but also entitles you to fly for free at our rocket launches (Low power fee is $5 / high power fee $10). Dues and fees can be pain by cash or card on site.

To make things easier for families we offer a family membership at the same fee as an individual membership. This membership will cover all of your family members (spouse and children under 18). You can come to any launches as a spectator for free.SLRA will provide the launch pads and controller to launch your rocket. You can join at any event, meetings, or from this website.

To start a membership, you (or an adult parent or guardian for anyone under 18) just needs to fill out the membership form with their information and sign as the responsible party in the signature box near the bottom of the form.  Our insurance requires that an adult parent or guardian sign for under 18 family members.  That's all you need to do. You can create a web site account and it will be upgraded to member status, or you can choose to have multiple club accounts for each of your family members.  If you want, an account can be also created after submission of the membership form and a password will be sent by email.
